DPR metallurgical complex sales double from 2016, to $1.52 billion

Donetsk, Feb 15 – DAN. DPR metallurgical complex sales reached 102 billion rubles ($1.52 billion) in 2018, said the Industry and Trade Minister Eduard Armatov speaking at the People's Council meeting.

"DPR metallurgical complex comprises steel, coke chemical, flux and dolomite companies and metal products manufacturing; 2018 sales amount to 102,147,000,000 rubles."

As of the end of 2018, 46 metallurgical enterprises were functioning in the DPR, employing 27,000 people.

The Ministry has not released 2017 report, while in 2016 metallurgical sales amounted to 51 billion rubles, showing a double growth by 2019. *ot
