Donetsk, Dec 14 - DAN. Russian President Vladimir Putin’s decree on humanitarian support of Donbass has provided opportunities for Donetsk People’s Republic farmers to boost exports of agricultural products, DPR Agricultural Policy and Food Minister Artyom Kramarenko said at a meeting on Tuesday over prospects for deeper economic integration between Donbass and Russia.

“At present, the DPR exports to Russia dairy products, eggs, grain, flour, sausage, confectionary, ice-cream, condiments and fodder,” Kramarenko said. “We can boost exports in the near future without threatening the DPR’s food security, he added.

On November 15, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed Decree No 657 ordering the government to adopt measures aimed at easing access of Donbass-made products to Russian markets and lifting the export/import limitations. These measures will apply until the political settlement of the Donbass conflict based on the Minsk Agreements. *jk
