Donetsk, Jan 25 – DAN. DPR authorities have endorsed the annual budget for the first time in the Republic's history.
The Minister of Finance Yana Chausova said that "thanks to the joint efforts and ministries' work we have achieved the possibility to endorse the annual budget for the first time".
She said that long-term plans allow the enhancement and simplification of the current budgeting procedures. The income and expenditure has not been made available to public due to the martial law.
Before 2016, DPR adopted monthly budgets due to the economic blockade imposed by Kiev. Afterwards, quarterly budgets were developed as the situation evolved towards stabilization, bringing the necessity to analyze budget requirements and to finance and register treaties with the treasury. *ot
