DPR Central Bank has issued half a million payment cards

Donetsk, Oct 25 – DAN. DPR Central Bank has issued almost half a million payment cards, the regulator said.

"By this time the Bank has issued over 505 thousand payment cards. Pensions, salaries, disablement payouts and social welfares are transferred to the Central Bank cards," the regulators press service said.

The Bank plans to provide cards to students for their scholarships and to employees of enterprises. Agreements are already signed with over 720 enterprises and companies.

DPR Central Bank launched trial cards in July, 2015 along with test-runs of cash machines and payment terminals. The tests were successfully completed in late August, 2015. The Central Bank functions since 2014. It operates 257 offices, 85 cash machines, 532 POS terminals in offices and trade centers.
