Donetsk, Jan 23 - DAN. Ukrainian army units planted more than 200 anti-tank mines in the vicinity of the Pischevik frontline village north of Mariupol, the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia reported on Thursday.

“Ukrainian armed formations continue to mine roads and adjacent territory which local residents use every day,” the report said. “We have detected 25 anti-tank mines in the Gnutovo settlement area and more than 200 anti-tank mines in the Pischevik settlement area (next to Ukraine’s Gnutovo crossing point - eds Donetsk News Agency).

On top of that, Ukraine deployed five armoured vehicles, such as infantry fighting vehicles, tracked prime movers and armoured personnel carriers next to dwelling houses in Gnutovo. Two Ukrainian armoured personnel carriers were spotted in the Pionerskoye village east of Mariupol, the DPR militia said.*jk
