Donetsk, May 10 - DAN. Ukrainian army units on Thursday morning fired dozens of large calibre artillery rounds at settlements on the Gorlovka axis, the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination said.
At 3:00 a.m., Ukrainian forces delivered at strike at the Komsomolets settlement in north-western Gorlovka, firing 12 82mm and 120mm rounds, the JCCC said. At around 5:30 a.m., a Zaitsevo settlement area came under fire; the enemy expended 25 122mm artillery rounds.
JCCC observers also recorded a strike at the Shirokaya Balka settlement and the Gagarin Colliery area. Ukrainian forces used large calibre mortars, automatic grenade launchers (AGS), infantry fighting vehicle cannons and small arms.
Thirty-six ceasefire violations by Ukrainian forces were recorded over the past 24 hours. A house in the outskirts of Donetsk was reportedly damaged in shelling.*jk
