Donetsk, Aug 5 – DAN. Ukrainian forces have begun to dismantle the Butovka-Donetskaya mine as scrap, said the head of the DPR People's Militia press service Daniil Bezsonov.
"The members of the 92nd brigade are eagerly pillaging the equipment of the Butovka-Donetskaya coalmine to sell it as scrap. The ransack has gained industrial rate," he said.
Several units and nine military tracks are engaged. The operation is led by the 92nd brigade deputy commander for logistics.
The Butovka-Donetskaya mine dates 100 years back. Its outstanding coal thickness varies between 2 - 2.2. meters. The mine was in the epicenter of military action as the Donbass conflict broke out. Currently it is not in operation. The mine's ventilation shaft is located in Ukrainian territory, between Donetsk and Avdeyevka. *ot
