Donetsk, Nov 14 - DAN. Ukrainian law-enforcement bodies have detained and disarmed “Right Sector” nationalistic group gunmen following the incident near the Petrovskoye-Bogdanovka security zone in which a Ukrainian army brigade commander was wounded, the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia reported on Thursday.
On November 12, Ukrainian radicals in the Bogdanovka village area attacked a car carrying 128th Mountain Assault Brigade Commander Yevgeny Korosteleyov. The grenade launcher attack left four people wounded, including the senior army officer.
The terrorist attack against the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade commander will be investigated by Joint Forces Operations HQ and military police commissions. Detentions and disarming of nationalists were spotted in the Bogdanovka settlement area, the DPR militia said.
Meanwhile, losses on both sides have been reported in armed clashes between Ukrainian servicemen and nationalists.
Earlier reports said that Ukrainian nationalistic squads had gone on full alert because of the conflict with the regular army.*jk
