Donetsk, Dec 6 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 20 times over the past 24 hours firing 215 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Thursday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 20 times expending 215 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
Strikes were delivered at Gorlovka and the adjacent Gagarin Colliery, Golmovskiy, Zaitsevo, Ozeryanovka and Shirokaya Balka, Yasinovataya and its Krutaya Balka, Mineralnoye and Vasilyevka neighbourhoods, the Dokuchayevsk town, the Volvo Centre, the Spartak village and the settlements of Alexandrovka, Trudovskaya Colliery and Abakunova Colliery in suburban Donetsk. The Leninskoye village in southern DPR came under fire as well, he added.
The enemy employed grenade launchers, anti-aircraft guns and large calibre small arms.
The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.
Earlier reports on Thursday said that an elderly woman had been wounded in Gorlovka in shelling by Ukrainian forces.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces expended 94 rounds of ammunition firing at DPR areas.*jk
