Donetsk, Dec 13 - DAN. Ukrainian forces fired over 200 rounds of ammunition at Donetsk People’s Republic frontline areas over the past 24 hours, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov said on Thursday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 18 times expending 204 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
Ukrainian forces targeted the Spartak, Alexandrovka and Trudovskaya Colliery villages in the outskirts and suburbs of Donetsk, Gorlovka with the Zaitsevo and Gagarin Colliery neighbourhoods, Yasinovataya and its adjacent settlement of Krutaya Balka and the Naberezhnoye, Leninskoye, Kominternovo and Sakhanka villages in southern DPR.
The enemy used 120mm and 82mm mortars, anti-aircraft guns, grenade launchers and large calibre small arms.
The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 19 times firing 228 rounds at the DPR.*jk
