Donetsk, Apr 29 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations opened fire at the Donetsk People’s Republic three times over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Thursday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire three times,” the report said.
Fire was delivered at the Staromikhailovka neighbourhood in western Donetsk and the outskirts of the Kominternovo and Leninskoye villages in the south of the Republic. The enemy used 120mm mortars and SPG, AGS and RPG grenade launchers, the DPR Office at the JCCC said.
“Ukraine has ignored the DPR’s attempts at the JCCC to use the coordination mechanism towards securing immediate ceasefire after each violation,” the DPR Office said.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire four times.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
