Donetsk, Jun 5 - DAN. The Ukrainian army command might be deploying the hardware banned by the Minsk Agreements to the frontline using the Sea of Azov military exercise as a cover, DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin Said on Tuesday.

“We’re drawing your attention to the fact that these pretentious statements might be hiding the attempt to mass hardware, banned by the Minsk accords, on the Mariupol axis,” Basurin said.

On Monday, the Ukrainian Navy said that it would close three areas in the Sea of Azov off Mariupol in connection with combat training. It will last until September 1 and will be held on the coastline near the settlements of Shirokino and Melekino in the vicinity of the contact line with the Donetsk People’s Republic as well as on the Belosarai Spit and in an area east of Berdyansk.*jk
