Donetsk, Dec 18 - DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic intelligence has recorded the reinforcement of Ukrainian troops on the Gorlovka axis, DPR People’s Militia spokesman Daniil Bezsonov said on Tuesday.
“We continue to record enemy reinforcements on the Gorlovka axis,” Bezsonov said. “According to our intelligence, a mechanised battalion and a tank battalion of 93rd Mechanised Brigade are currently deployed in the Ulyanovka and Timofeyevka areas, respectively.”
On top of that, 93rd Brigade’s self-propelled howitzer battalion offloaded in Konstantinovka. On Thursday, 20 BMP-1 will be delivered by rail to Krasnoarmeisk from 184th Training Centre located in the Starichi village, Lvov region.
Earlier reports said the Ukrainian military might launch an offensive in Donbass on December 24-25. In this connection, the DPR has observed the massing a large enemy group on the Gorlovka axis. The DPR intelligence estimated it as 20,000-strong force with hundreds of tanks, multiple launch rocket systems and artillery pieces.*jk
