Ukrainian forces mass 45 large calibre artillery pieces at contact line - DPR intelligence

Donetsk, Feb 16 - DAN. Ukrainian forces strengthened their positions at the contact line with 45 large calibre artillery pieces, DPR armed forces spokesman Daniil Bezsonov said on Friday.

“Ukrainian army command is continuing to mass large calibre weapons at the contact line,” Bezsonov said.

DPR intelligence spotted 18 towed howitzers (152mm D-20),  12 Giatsint-B guns, five self-propelled artillery pieces (122mm), eight anti-tank guns Rapira and two T-72 tanks, he said.

Earlier, DPR envoy to Minsk talks, parliament speaker Denis Pushilin said Ukraine had stepped up preparations for an offensive and urged OSCE mission's close monitoring.*jk
