Donetsk, Jun 28 – DAN. More than 70 Ukrainian troops have been killed or injured in battle and non-battle accidents, said DPR People's Militia deputy chief-of-staff Eduard Basurin.
"Enemy's losses amounted to eight killed and 64 injured this week," he said.
The DPR People's Militia had to resort to retaliatory fire with weapons not banned under the Minsk Agreements, he added.
As a result of the retaliatory fire, three Ukrainian troops were killed and 42 injured.
"Officially the JFO said it lost one killed and 31 injured, which is not true as they conceal true losses."
Three troops committed suicides, two were killed in mine blasts; 12 were injured in similar accidents, 10 sustained wounds in fighting with colleagues under influence. *ot
