Donetsk, Jun 1 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations opened fire at the Donetsk People’s Republic three times over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.

“Ukrainian armed formations violated the indefinite ceasefire three times in the past 24 hours expending 32 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.

Strikes were delivered at the outskirts of the Shakhta 6/7 settlement in Gorlovka, Yasinovataya and the Leninskoye village in southern DPR. The enemy used 120mm mortars and RPG and AGS grenade launchers. No civilian casualties or damage to civil infrastructure have been reported.

“Ukrainian representatives at the JCCC have ignored the DPR’s attempts to use the coordination mechanism to secure immediate ceasefire after each violation,” the DPR Office said.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
