Donetsk, Jul 27 - DAN. Kiev army units opened fire at the Donetsk People’s Republic seven times over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the indefinite ceasefire seven times expending 64 rounds of ammunition (the amount of expended ammunition of caliber up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics - eds Donetsk News Agency),” the report said.
The enemy used 122mm artillery, 120mm mortars, RPG, SPG and AGS grenade launchers and machine guns. Fire was delivered at the areas of the Shakhta Gagarina settlement on the Gorlovka axis, Vesyoloye and Yakovlevka villages and Staromikhailovka settlement on the Donetsk axis and Krasny Oktyabr village on the Mariupol axis, the JCCC said.
On Monday, a power line to the Skochinsky coal mine in Donetsk was damaged in shelling by Ukrainian forces. The main fan was temporarily stopped as a result of the incident. There were no casualties.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire five times.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works, use of unmanned aerial vehicles etc.*jk
