Donetsk, Sep 27 - DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 124 times over the past week, Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Friday.
“Over the past week, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 124 times, using prohibited weapons and shelling 24 DPR settlements with 149 152mm and 122m artillery rounds, 209 120mm and 82mm mortar rounds, and 508 grenades,” Basurin said.
In the designated period, a woman was wounded in a Ukrainian army strike at the Kominternovo village in the south of the Republic and 28 houses and infrastructure facilities were damaged.
Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire more than 700 times since the new ceasefire came into force on July 21. Two civilians have been killed and another 13 have been wounded, including three rescuers; as many as 162 houses or civil infrastructure facilities have been damaged.*jk
