Donetsk, Nov 27 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 18 times over the past 24 hours firing at the Donetsk People’s Republic, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 18 times expending 328 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Gorlovka and the adjacent settlements of Gagarin Colliery, Izotov Colliery, Golmovskiy, Ozeryanovka, Zaitsevo and Mikhailovka, the Yasinovataya town and its Krutaya Balka and Kashtnovoye neighbourhoods, the Donetsk airport and Staromikhailovka in the outskirts of the city and the Leninskoye and Sakhanka villages in southern DPR were targeted with 120mm and 82mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers, anti-aircraft guns and high calibre small arms.

The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

On Monday, DPR authorities said that Ukrainian forces had deployed reinforcements along the whole contact line.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 20 times firing nearly 100 rounds at the DPR.*jk
