Donetsk, Jun 27 - DAN. Ukrainian army command plans to send commando groups to DPR territory to carry out acts of terror during the “harvest ceasefire,” DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Tuesday.

“Ukraine is using the ‘harvest ceasefire’ according to its understanding. We have information that the enemy plans to use commando teams to destabilise the situation in the Republic,” Basurin said.

He urged DPR residents to stay vigilant and immediately report the location of objects of unknown origin and suspicious activities by unidentified persons to the Republic’s law-enforcement bodies.

The so-called “harvest ceasefire,” agreed by the Contact Group on Donbass settlement on 21 June has been in effect in the region since 24 June midnight. The truce was expected to last until 31 August.

During the ceasefire, Ukrainian army launched large redeployment of hardware; massing of large-calibre artillery in frontline areas was reported.*jk
