Donetsk, Aug 30 – DAN. Ukrainian units have violated the renewed ceasefire 247 times, said DPR People's Militia deputy chief-of-staff Eduard Basurin.
"Since the recommitment to ceasefire has been renewed, from July 21, Kiev forces violated the ceasefire 247 times, firing 1,273 rounds," the report reads.
As a result of shelling, 20 houses and infrastructural facilities were damaged. Over the last week, 285 rounds were fired.
The enemy used 122 mm howitzers, tanks, mortars, grenade launchers, small arms including of large caliber.
Earlier reports said that the Contact Group has agreed to strengthen ceasefire on the eve of a new academic year. *ot
