Donetsk, Apr 23 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 45 times over the past week, said DPR People’s Militia deputy chief-of-staff Eduard Basurin.
“Ukrainian fighters violated the Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire 45 times over the past week,” he said.
The enemy used 152 mm and 122 mm artillery, mortars of 120 mm and 82 mm caliber, IFVs, grenade launchers, and small arms to target 20 DPR townships.
Two DPR service members were killed, a civilian sustained injury.
The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
