Ukrainian army shells DPR 17 times in a week

Donetsk, Feb 19 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 17 times over the past week, said DPR People’s Militia deputy chief-of-staff Eduard Basurin.

“Ukrainian fighters violated the Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire 17 times over the past week,” he said.

The enemy used artillery, mortars, and grenade launchers to target Signalnoye, Staromikhailovka, Luganskoye, Spartak, Shakhta Gagarina, Shakhta 6/7, Kominternovo and Leninskoye.

The township of Golmovskiy on Gorlovka outskirts was targeted with 120 mm mortar rounds on Friday morning.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
