Donetsk, Nov 16 - DAN. Ukrainian forces are planning to deliver strikes with large-calibre weapons at Donetsk Water Treatment Plant (DFS) area, DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Thursday.
“We received intelligence from a source in the 25th separate airborne brigade that Ukrainian army units were preparing to shell DFS area with large calibre artillery and mortars,” Basurin said.
The source also said that militants from Ukrainian nationalistic squads would be blamed for the strikes.
Ukrainian army units regularly shell Donbass key infrastructure. They mostly target water supply facilities outside Yasinovataya which service settlements on both sides of the contact line. In the latest incident on 14 November, Ukrainian military delivered strikes at the Yuzhnodonbasskiy water duct. *jk
