Donetsk, Sep 6 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire on the contact line with the Donetsk People’s Republic twice over the past 24 hours, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Monday.

“Ukrainian armed formations expended 12 rounds of ammunition (the amount of expended ammunition of caliber up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics - eds Donetsk News Agency),” the report said.

The strikes were delivered at the outskirts of the Leninskoye village in southern DPR. The enemy used RPG, SPG and underbarrel grenade launchers and small arms. No civilian casualties or damage to civil infrastructure were reported.

“The Ukrainian representatives at the JCCC ignored the attempts to use the coordination mechanism in order to quickly establish a local ceasefire after each fact of truce violation,” the DPR Office said.

Ukrainian army units observed the ceasefire in the previous reporting period.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicle flights.*jk
