Donetsk, Jan 31 – DAN. Seventeen Ukrainian soldiers died or were injured in non-combat incidents this week in Donbass, said DPR People’s Militia deputy chief-of-staff Eduard Basurin.
“In the past 24 hours two members of Ukrainian armed formations were injured in non-combat accidents,” he said.
In the past week, six Ukrainian troops died and nine sustained injuries of various degrees in non-combat accidents.
Ukrainian 58th, 92nd and 28th brigades appeared to be most affected.
Non-combat losses are continuously being reported in Ukrainian army. A month ago, three Ukrainian troops sustained serious injuries as they were making an ordnance for an unmanned aerial vehicle. *ot
