“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire six times expending 50 rounds of ammunition,” the report said (The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics - eds Donetsk News Agency).
Strikes were delivered at the areas of the Zaitsevo Yuzhnoye village in Gorlovka, Staromikhailovka in Donetsk, Vesyoloye village north of the DPR capital, and the outskirts of the Leninskoye and Ukrainskoye villages in southern DPR. The enemy employed 82mm and 120mm mortars, automatic grenade launchers and small arms, the JCCC said.
No civilian casualties or damage to civil infrastructure have been recorded.
“Ukraine has ignored the DPR’s attempts to use the coordination mechanism at the JCCC towards securing immediate ceasefire and looking into all the facts of violations,” the DPR Office said.
The JCCC also recorded an explosion during engineer works at Ukrainian army positions in the Pavlopol settlement area which was carried out in violation of the Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units opened fire at DPR areas five times.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass in July 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, special operations, engineer works at troops positions and unmanned aerial vehicle flights.*jk
