Donetsk, Oct 14 — DAN. Two Ukrainian missiles have been shot down in the sky over Mariupol, the City Hall press service reported on Friday.
“The air defense system activated in Mariupol’s Primorsky District in the morning as the enemy fired two missiles at the port infrastructure, ” the press service said. “The attempted attack at the Mariupol Trade Port was successfully rebuffed.”
“We ask resident to stay calm because the city has reliable defenses, ” the City Hall said.
Mariupol was liberated from Ukrainian troops on April 21, 2022. The city housing stock and infrastructure had sustained significant damage. It is gradually being rebuilt; specialists restore power, water supply and communications and build new homes, hospitals etc. The seaport resumed operation in late May.*jk
