Donetsk, Mar 14 – DAN. Donetsk was targeted with a Tochka-U missile that was launched from Ukrainian occupants' positions in the vicinity of Krasnoarmeisk, DPR Defence's deputy chief of staff Eduard Basurin said.
"As you know, today central Donetsk has been hit by a Tochka-U ballistic missile. The shelling was perpetrated by the nationalists of the 19th missile brigade of the Ukrainian armed formations, from the north-west direction, from the vicinity of Krasnoarmeisk, occupied by Kiev," he said.
According to information available to the DPR authorities, the attack targeted the House of the Government, a television and radio transmission centre and a recruitment centre.
The attack took place today at around noon. A Tochka-U ballistic missile, launched by Ukrainian gunmen, was brought down over the city of Donetsk. Its debris fell on the streets of Artyoma and Universitetskaya. According to the latest reports, 20 people have been killed, 28 injured. *ot
