Donetsk, May 8 — DAN. Ukrainian gunmen fired some 500 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic  territory over the past weekend killing three civilians and wounding another four including a child, said the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC).

More than 20 homes were damaged in the attacks, the JCCC said. On Saturday, Ukrainian forces shelled DPR areas 59 times expending more than 300 rounds of ammunition. Two women and were killed and another four civilians including a child were wounded.  Six homes were damaged in the Petrovsky and Kuibyshevsky districts of Donetsk.

On Sunday, the enemy fired 187 rounds of ammunition in 40 artillery attacks on the DPR, the JCCC said. Ukrainian cannon artillery delivered strikes at Gorlovka and its suburb, four of Donetsk’s nine districts, Makeyevka and settlements outside Ugledar.  Eighteen homes and four civil infrastructure facilities were damaged. A man in Donetsk’s Petrovsky district was killed by artillery fire.*jk
