Donetsk, Sep 5 - DAN. The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has begun to check Joint Forces Operation headquarters officials for leaking the information on offensive preparations in the south of the Donetsk People’s Republic, DPR Operations Command spokesman Daniil Bezsonov said on Wednesday citing intelligence reports.

“After our publication of the Ukrainian invaders’ Mariupol axis offensive plans, the SBU sent teams to Ukrainian army units in the JFO zone to identify and stop the information leakage channel,” Bezsonov said. “On (JFO commander Sergey) Nayev’s demand, SBU agents are checking JFO Headquarters staff for involvement in the leak.”

All JFO headquarters officers will take a polygraph test. “The information on the situation and the occupation forces command’s plans is coming to our intelligence notwithstanding, and not only from the JFO zone,” the spokesman said.

Reports on Tuesday said that Kiev had begun to prepare for an offensive on the southern axis in Donbass. September 14 was named as the tentative date of the attack.*jk
