Donetsk, Aug 29 — DAN. Russian forces have destroyed Ukrainian ammunition, manpower and military equipment delivered by rail to the Donetsk area, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Tuesday.
“The strike at a military train destroyed carloads of ammunition, some 30 servicemen and up to ten pieces of hardware, ” the report said.
A Russian reconnaissance unit detected the arrival of a Ukrainian ammunition train to an unloading station. The coordinates were passed to the crew of a ground-based missile system which destroyed enemy armaments by precision strike, the Ministry said.
On Monday, the Russian Defense Ministry reported elimination of a British AS-90 “Brave Heart” 155mm howitzer in the special military operation zone.*jk
