Donetsk, May 12 — DAN. Russian forces have rebuffed all attempts by the enemy to break through their defense lines on the Soledar axis over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Friday.
“On the Soledar tactical axis, the enemy carried out offensive operations along the whole 95-kilometer-long contact line on Thursday, ” the Ministry said. “Ukrainian army units launched 26 attacks involving more than 1,000 servicemen, up to 40 tanks and other military and specialized equipment. Russian forces rebuffed all the attacks by Ukrainian army units which failed to break through Russian defense lines.”
In the western part of Artyomovsk, assault units continued to engage the enemy. Russian warplanes flew nine sorties and Russian artillery accomplished 64 fire objectives, the Defense Ministry said.*jk
