Donetsk, Oct 6 — DAN. Russian armed forces have liberated the settlement of Zaitsevo from Ukrainian invaders in the course of an offensive on the Artyomovsk axis, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said on Thursday.
“Coalition forces liberated the settlement of Zaitsevo during an offensive on the Artyomovsk axis, ” Konashenkov said.
More than 120 gunmen of Ukrainian armed formations’ 58th Motorized Infantry Brigade and 128th Mountain Assault Brigade were killed and three armored personnel carriers were knocked out in the area, he added.
Russia began a special military operation in Donbass on February 24, 2022. As of today, it fully liberated the Lugansk People’s Republic and a considerable part of the Donetsk People’s Republic and Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. Fighting is ongoing on the Artyomovsk, Donetsk, Ugledar and Kherson axis.*jk
