Donetsk, Apr 6 — DAN. A US-made Bradley fighting vehicle has been destroyed in a precision strike in the South Donetsk area of the frontline, “East” task force spokesman Alexander Gordeyev said on Thursday.
“An Orlan-30 unmanned aerial vehicle helped to find a Bradley in a strip of wood; it was destroyed with a Krasnopol high-presicion projectile. An armored evacuation vehicle which was trying to salvage it was destroyed as well, ” Gordeyev said.
Three enemy reconnaissance-in-force operations to probe Russian forward positions on the South Donetsk axis were thwarted on Thursday. Up to 20 Ukrainian gunmen were killed in the clashes, he said.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that an enemy counterattack had been rebuffed in the Maryinka area.*jk
