Donetsk, Jul 25 — DAN. The Russia-led coalition is mopping up the Uglegorsk thermal power station, previously occupied by Ukrainian forces, the DPR Territorial Defense HQ said.
“Currently, the group of DPR and LPR forces with the fire support of the Russian army has liberated and established full control of 255 localities, mopping-up of the Uglegorsk thermal power station is ongoing, ” the report reads.”
No further details were immediately available.
The Uglegorsk thermal power station is one of the biggest in Europe, and produces up to 3,600 MW. It is located approximately three km away from Svetlodarsk, 18 km north of Debaltsevo and currently in its administrative area. *ot
