Donetsk, Sep 18 - DAN. Ukrainian forces have observed the ceasefire over the past 24 hours, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Friday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations have not violated the ceasefire or the Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire,” the report said.
In the previous reporting period, the JCCC did not record any ceasefire or Additional Measures violations by Ukrainian forces either.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of any weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and flights of unmanned aerial vehicles, and envisions punishment of violators.
Meanwhile, Donetsk said that it had broached the issue of revision of the additional ceasefire control measures following Kiev’s rejection of the coordination mechanism for observing them.*jk
