Donetsk, Mar 30 — DAN. There will be no army callups in the Donbass Republics and Zaporozhye and Kherson regions for now, chairman of the defense committee under the State Duma lower house of the Russian parliament Andrey Kartapolov said on Thursday.
“These regions will have no conscription until further orders, and conscripts from other regions will not be sent there, ” TASS quoted Kartapolov as saying.
The parliamentarian added that conscription in the new territories might be considered “when the situation has normalized.”
