Donetsk, Apr 8 - DAN. A missile attack on the railway station in Kramatorsk was inflicted today by Ukrainian armed formations from the area of Dobropolye, Russia's Ministry of Defence said.
"According to updated data, the strike on the railway station of Kramatorsk was carried out by a missile division of the Ukrainian armed forces from the area of the settlement of Dobropolye, 45 kilometers south-west of the city," the statement reads.
The Ministry said that the purpose of the strike was to disrupt the mass evacuation from the city so that in the future residents could be used as a "human shield" for the positions of Ukrainian militants, "as in many other settlements of Ukraine."
A missile hit the Kramatorsk railway station on Friday morning when evacuation of civilians was underway. The DPR Territorial Defence HQ identified the missile as a Tochka-U type, which is not in service in either the Russian army or the Donbass Republics forces. *ot
