Donetsk, Feb 22 – DAN. Ukraine has refused to pull back its hardware from the contact line in Donbass in the near future, the Republic’s Operations Command told Donetsk News Agency on Wednesday.
“Ukraine said at the talks yesterday that it would not disengage in the near future,” a DPR Operations Command representative said.
The officer said Ukrainian forces are making sure that disengagement of hardware from the contact line is delayed for as long as possible. In this connection, DPR will postpone the withdrawal of its hardware as well.
DPR contact line disengagement was scheduled for 21 February, but Ukraine disrupted the process. DPR officials then extended the hope that the withdrawal might take place the next day.*jk
