Kiev forces violate truce over 540 times during Easter ceasefire

Donetsk, Apr 23 – DAN. Ukrainian army units have violated the Easter ceasefire over 540 times since the truce agreement came into force, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.

"Since the beginning of the Easter ceasefire on March 30 the Ukrainian side has violated it 543 times."

Yakubov added that one civilian has been killed over the period, 18 have been injured; 76 households, seven infrastructure objects and four vehicles have been damaged.

The Easter ceasefire initiated by the DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko was supported by the Contact Group members and came into force at midnight March 30.

The Ukrainian side violated it at 9.35 a.m. by targeting Kominternovo with mortar rounds. *ot
