Donetsk, Aug 7 – DAN. The Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire three times in 24 hours firing 20-plus rounds, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.
"The number of ceasefire violations recorded in the past 24 hours is three. The total number of rounds fired is 24," the report reads.
Shakhta Gagarina, Dolomitnoye and Verkhnetoretskoye Nizhneye were targeted with 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms, including of large caliber.
Rounds under 12.7mm are not included in daily reports and statistics.
An indefinite ceasefire came into force in Donbass in the night of July 20-21 as it has been agreed to by the Contact Group in Minsk.
The new ceasefire agreement includes provisions for disciplinary measures against perpetrators, ban on offensive, sabotage and reconnaissance operations, ban on any fire including sniper fire, deployment of heavy weapons to populated areas and, first of all, civilian infrastructural objects such as schools, kindergartens, hospitals and public places. *ot
