Donetsk, June 7 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire five times in the past 24 hours, said LPR People’s Militia representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC).

“Over the past 24 hours five violations were recorded, the number of rounds fired was 57,” the report reads.

The enemy mortars, grenade launchers to target Vesyoloye, Donetsk Chemical Plant, Ozeryanova, Sakhanka; a non-residential building in northern Donetsk was damaged.

All the attempts to reinstall the ceasefire through the coordination mechanism failed as Ukrainian ignored the requests.

In the previous reporting period, Ukraine violated the ceasefire eight times. On Saturday, May 15, five violations were recorded.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
