Donetsk, Jan 29 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire 45 times over the past week, said DPR People's Militia deputy chief-of-staff Eduard Basurin.
"Ukrainian fighters violated the Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire 45 times over the past week," he said.
The Donetsk Water Treatment Plant was targeted five times; large caliber machine guns and small arms were used in the area where shuttle buses with personnel are present.
Two launches of UAVs were recorded. One of them dropped an improvised explosive device in the vicinity of Staromikhailovka west of Donetsk, killing a DPR service member.
Earlier reports said that Kiev forces violated the ceasefire three times in 24 hours.
On Friday, Ukrainian forces fired an anti-tank guided missile towards Leninskoye.
The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
