Donetsk, Dec 18 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire 20 times over the past week shelling the DPR, said DPR People’s Militia deputy chief-of-staff Eduard Basurin.
“Ukrainian fighters violated the Article 2 of the Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire 20 times over the past week,” he said.
Shakhta Trudovskaya, Alexandrovka, Vesyeloye, Mineralnoye, Yakovlevka, Shakhta 6/7, Leninskoe, Kominternovo and Novaya Tavria were targeted with mortars of 120 mm and 82 mm caliber, grenade launchers and small arms.
On Friday, two DPR service members were killed in Ukrainian attack.
The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
