Donetsk, Nov 30 – DAN. Ukrainian forces shelled frontline areas of the Donetsk People’s Republic 1,270 times over the past 24 hours, DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin told a news briefing at Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
“The situation in the Donetsk People’s Republic remains tense. Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian gunmen violated the ceasefire 1,270 times, firing 46 152mm and 122mm artillery rounds, 284 120mm and 82 mm mortar rounds and ten tank gun rounds,” Basurin said. “They also used infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms.”
Ukrainian forces targeted Gorlovka and its suburbs Zaitsevo, Ozeryanovka, Yasinovataya and its neighbouring Spartak, Krutaya Balka, Vasilyevka villages, Dokuchayevsk, Novolaspa of Telmanovskiy district, Trudovskiye, Aleksandrovka west of Donetsk, Kominternovo, Dzerzhinskoye, Sakhanka and Bezymennoye villages in DPR south.
