Donetsk, Aug 3 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire four times over the past 24 hours, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.
Over the same period, Ukrainian forces have organized new positions and installed mines outside Pischevik close to the Oktyabr-Gnutovo checkpoint. Same activity was reported in Shumy, controlled by Ukraine.
On the previous evening, Kiev forces opened random small arms fire from positions outside Avdeyevka north of Donetsk.
The Ukrainian side in the JCCC has been notified of the incidents.
No shelling aimed at DPR territory has been recorded.
The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
