Donetsk, Aug 17 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire four times over the past 24 hours, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.
Ukrainian force carried out engineer works outside Shumy on two separate occasions and outside Zaitsevo on two occasions as well. Detonations on a mine field where grass was burning was also reported in Lebedinskoye.
No shelling aimed at DPR territory has been recorded.
The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
