Donetsk, Sep 9 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the additional ceasefire control measures five times over the past 24 hours, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Wednesday.

Explosions were recorded on the Donetsk and Mariupol axes in the areas of the Vasilyevka, Krasnogorovka, Gnutovo and Novosyolovka settlements. Also, a Ukrainian army drone was sighted over DPR territory in Gorlovka.

Over the past 24 hours, the JCCC also reported a strike at the Oktyabr village in southern DPR where the crossing point between the DPR and Kiev-controlled territory is located. No casualties were immediately reported, the JCCC said.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian servicemen opened fire at DPR territory three times.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of any weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and use of unmanned aerial vehicles, and envisions punishment for violators.*jk
