Donetsk, Aug 23 — DAN. Kiev gunmen have fired six “NATO caliber” artillery rounds at residential areas in central Donetsk on Wednesday morning, said the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC).
“Fifteen 155mm (NATO standard) artillery rounds were fired at the Voroshilovsky and Kievsky districts at 5-minute intervals, ” the JCCC said. The school building was damaged.
On Tuesday, the Ukrainian army opened fire at the Donetsk People’s Republic 84 times expending some 300 shells and cluster bombs. Two homes and three civil infrastructure facilities including two schools were damaged.*jk
